In the 1960s, Damazy Kwiatkowski was a CAF and TVP correspondent in the Rzeszowskie Voivodship. He documented official events and everyday life in Poland, showing equal enthusiasm for both.

Kwiatkowski worked for the Central Photographic Agency (CAF) for a number of years (from 1964) and the Polish Press Agency or PAP (from 1991, when CAF merged with PAP). Personal photographer of Aleksander Kwaśniewski, taking part in nearly all his official visits. He studied geography at the University of Warsaw (UW). In the 1950s, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Physical Geography, UW. In the 1960s, Kwiatkowski was a correspondent of Polish Television (TVP) in the Rzeszowskie Voivodship. He made many TV features, mainly for the popular-science Eureka programme. In 1996, he received the prize of the Head of PAP for his lifetime achievement as a news photographer. He then retired but continued to work for PAP.

Wieloletni fotoreporter Centralnej Agencji Fotograficznej (od 1964 r.) i Polskiej Agencji Prasowej (od 1991 r., gdy CAF została włączona do PAP). Osobisty fotograf prezydenta Aleksandra Kwaśniewskiego, brał udział w niemal wszystkich jego podróżach. Studiował geografię na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim. W latach 50. pracował jako asystent w Katedrze Geografii Fizycznej UW. W latach 60. był stałym korespondentem Telewizji Polskiej z województwa rzeszowskiego. Dla TVP zrealizował wiele reportaży filmowych, głównie dla Magazynu Popularno-Naukowego „Eureka”. W 1996 r. za całokształt działalności fotoreporterskiej w PAP otrzymał nagrodę prezesa Agencji. Przeszedł wówczas na emeryturę, ale nadal z PAP współpracował.
