The Family Album series was made for the First World Exhibition of Spoiled Photos and had its premiere in Mała Galeria ZPAF-CCA in Warsaw in 1988. The artist was inspired by old amateur photographs from his family archives. He superimposed fragments of old photos on other photos, adding painted or graphic art elements to the resulting work. The photograph has been widely exhibited and published.

Artist specialising in creative photography; author of photo-objects. Graduate of the School of Creative Photography in Brno (1975). ZPAF member. Professor at the Film School in Łódź and Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has participated in almost 300 exhibitions and projects in Poland and abroad, including: Family Album from Poland, Fotofest, Houston (1992); Europe, Europe - 100 Years of Avant-garde in Central and Eastern Europe, Bonn, Germany (1994); Vigovisions, Vigo, Spain (1996, 1998); 1st Ars Baltica Triennial, Schleswig-Holstein, Berlin, Dresden, Helsinki, Tallinn, Warsaw, Poznań, Paris (1996-1998); Photosynkyria, Thessaloniki, Greece (2002); Places and Spirit of Places, Paris, France (2004); Time Remembered. Small Gallery 1977-2006, CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw (2007). His works are in the collections of the National Museum in Wrocław, Museum of Art in Łódź, Museum of Modern Art in New York, Musset for Fotokunst in Odense, Musée de I`Elysée in Lausanne, Nihon University in Tokyo, Stripped House Museum of Art in Tokyo, Alvar AAlto Museum in Jyvaskyla, CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Lauders Foundation in New York and in private collections.

PRAŻMOWSKI Wojciech

Fotografią zajął się w 1968 roku (udział w Ogólnopolskiej Wystawie Fotografii Artystycznej w Częstochowie). Ukończył Szkołę Fotografii Twórczej w Brnie w roku 1975. Wziął udział w blisko 300 wystawach fotograficznych w kraju i za granicą. Od 1977 roku jest członkiem Związku Polskich Artystów Fotografików. Prowadzi zajęcia w Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Teatralnej, Telewizyjnej i Filmowej w Łodzi oraz ASP w Poznaniu. Mieszka i tworzy w Częstochowie.
